The Studio
We don't make games. We build obsessions.
Carrollton Interactive is an independent studio that exists to close the gap between simulation and reality.
Our Story
Born from a simple frustration.
Carrollton Interactive was founded by a small team of developers who kept asking the same question: why do games that simulate real-world experiences always feel like games? The tension of a horse race, the patience of a hunt — these things have weight in real life. We wanted to build software that carries that weight.
We started with horse racing because it's one of the most data-rich, psychologically complex gambling experiences in the world. The odds, the form, the field — it's a system that rewards study and punishes impatience. Building a simulation that respects that complexity became our first obsession.
VR hunting followed naturally. The wilderness demands the same things the racetrack does: patience, preparation, and the ability to read a situation before it changes. We saw an opportunity to build something that felt genuinely earned — not a shooter with a hunting skin, but a real hunting experience in virtual reality.
Mission
Make it feel real.
Realism over spectacle
We build systems before we build visuals. If the underlying simulation isn't honest, no amount of polish will save it.
Consequence matters
Every decision in our games should carry weight. A bad bet, a missed shot — these should sting. That's what makes the wins feel earned.
Respect the player
We don't hand-hold. Our players are adults who want to engage with something challenging and real. We build for them.
Independent by choice
Staying independent means we answer to our players, not a publisher. Every design decision is made in service of the experience.
